Medicinal Plant Industry Development Leadership (Lima, PERU)

The first nation with projects underway during the 2017 and 2018 years is Perú!

It has been an absolute treasure thus far to work with leaders from Perú. Below are photos of esteemed directors and deans of La Facultad de San Fernando, La Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM), alongside diplomatic persons and leaders from India, The National Medicinal Plants Board, under the Department of AYUSH of the Republic of India. The noteworthy UNMSM is the oldest university in all of the Americas, and it is literally the Dean of America. The medical school at UNMSM has an impressive body of students and professors who intensively and carefully produce controlled animal study research to determine effectiveness of various plant-based medicine, and their studies do implement modern laboratory techniques such as histology and assays very effectively. They deserve more funding and recognition for their passion and dedication in researching natural, preventative, plant-based, evidence-based, plant medicines for our future!

Through these networks and professional relations, MEDRAR will start exploring possible exportation of proprietary medicinal plants from both India and Peru to the USA and other large international markets in need of clean, high potency, pills, powders, or liquid (extracts) for treatment of high blood sugar levels in diabetic or pre-diabetic persons, treatment of high blood pressure and cholesterol in patients with cardiac or vascular disease, and treatment of persons afflicted by chronic physical or emotional pain and stress. Anti-inflammatory medicinal plants are another category of interest that can help tackle a broad spectrum of pathology, as well as depression. In fact, depression is the number one leading cause of disability worldwide and MEDRAR holds provisional patent rights to over 37 unique, individual plant compounds identified for treating depression within a proprietary compounded formulation. NOTE:  PLANT PRODUCTS DO NOT NEED TO EVER LEAVE THE DOMESTIC NATIONAL MARKETS IF UNDER DUE NATIONAL IP CONSTRAINTS BECAUSE THESE PLANT MEDICINES SHOULD BE USED TO HELP THE LOCAL POPULATIONS FIRST!

MEDRAR believes these plant-based medicines are not an absolute replacement of modern pharmaceuticals, rather, relatively helpful in prevention, in education, and as adjuvant therapy. Chronic and preventable diseases cause 7 of 10 deaths, so MEDRAR’s prevention is responsible, profitable, and wise. Medicinal Plant Industry Development, lead by MEDRAR, creates a solution using plants — compatible with allopathy — and combines exercise, diet and meditation, for wellness, health derived in sustainable happiness at local and global levels.
