Water Filter Technology Transference (Pachacamac Lima)

MEDRAR helped organize the transference of Reverse Osmosis (RO) equipment and training in Pachacamac, Lima, Peru. The end result of this LCL importation and transference to hermano Victor Villafuerte Salas was the development of a strong and effective trust in the community of Pachacamac, including founders of the sector Los Jardines and including directors of large community center land lots. The transference of RO machines along with the legal requirements for safe production of water to small non-business operating and licensed community members was not realistic due to complexities of accounting, legal text analysis, scientific aspects of good manufacturing practices, and company leadership and principles for growth.

However, with transfer of this equipment and employee training practices, MEDRAR verified that more simple, yet effective Café Filter transference is not too complex. Especially for licensed Café’s in actual compliance with food and beverage handling standards. More importantly, MEDRAR’s (potentially proprietary) Café Filters could cut costs and eliminate unnecessary machinery for legal and safe production of drinking water – which is NSF-certifiably, cleaner and healthier.

AQCO, or in full legal denomination AQUAPERUPONIA AGUA Y COMIDA DE MEDRAR S.A.C. or abbreviated legal denomination AQUACOME S.A.C., will be the filter distribution company and technology transference partner in Peru. AQCO is the platform for introduction of improved water processing systems, starting with the Café Filters and eventually expanding into larger medicinal plant aquaponic operations that sustainable produces dried fish jerky in and for communities that would otherwise not have access to cheap and healthy proteins, minerals and plant-based “medicinal” waters and products, all of which can locally fuel jobs and provide job training.
